VBS

Vacation Bible School is another event that was drastically changed this year, due to the Corona Virus.  Honestly, I didn't think it was going to happen.  We postponed it two months and then limited it to 40 kids a day, instead of the 175ish that we had last year!  We also used face masks, social distancing, hand sanitizer, temperature checks, and ultraviolet wands!

I resigned from my official staff position at the church this summer, but I was still able to teach missions as I always have! Our mission was The Hope Center in Danville, IL. We packed snack bags for their after school program and raised money for them as well! I love teaching missions!
The sanctuary looked a lot different with face masks, kids spread out, limited attendance, etc.

These kiddos (Hannah's class) are entering 6th grade; therefore, it was their last VBS!
Snack bags packed and ready for delivery to The Hope Center:
VBS was a lot easier this year.... but we're still hoping to be "normal" again in 2021!
