Hannah's Birthday... Oh, and daddy's too!

Hannah had a great 10th birthday!  We started the morning with chocolate chip pancakes before school.
We decided to have a BIG party since we had only been in our house for a month and were anxious to have everyone over.  We invited 60 people (all local family plus 5 of her friends).  We had a PIE party!  I think it was a hit!  I made all of these the day before.  It was a lot of work but also fun!

Hannah's friends got to stay for the evening for pizza, spa fun, and crafts!

Aunt Emily brought her fun cookies:
She had gymnastics lessons that night, which she had just started:

She chose brownie ice cream sundaes for her b-day night:
She was excited to get new JoJo shoes:
Daddy chose ice cream cake for his b-day:
With Josh's b-day being 6 days after Hannah's, he always gets lumped in with her.  I don't think he minds.  We did our best to make sure he was well celebrated also.
Happy Birthday, Hannah and Josh!

Indy Shopping with Grandma Jody!

Grandma Jody took the girls on their annual back-to-school shopping trip.  This year Courtney and Lydia went with us too!

Here are most of the outfits the girls got.  A few came in the mail later and I forgot to take pics:

Sleepover at Aunt Betsy's!

The annual sleepover at Aunt Betsy's got postponed due to the stomach flu (we had that way too many times this year!?!?).  But we managed to find a date that worked out.  The kids had a blast, and Betsy sent pictures to prove it:

I met them at the park before I dropped them off:

Thanks for all the fun, Aunt Betsy and Uncle Nathan!  We can't wait until you can take all four... for a couple of nights... haha!

Fun Days!

Here's a look at some of the random fun we've been having this year:

We went to Mr. Patton's 100th Birthday Party!  My kids love him!
We went to Champaign on a day off from school: Indoor Park & Olive Garden!

I took 5 kids to the movies and to picnic at the park by myself.  I might be crazy (but it went well)!

They just about all fell asleep!
SFNE Roller Skating Night:
Ice cream for Hannah's half birthday!
We go to the library program A LOT:
Josh played church league softball this year and WON the championship!
A day at Homer Lake:

We had extra kids at our "table" a lot this summer:
Splash Park:

We met Betsy at a park in Champaign:

We met Emily at Sholem:
Root Beer Floats and Snow Cones all summer:
I love having a house full of kids when there is no school in session!
