Cousins

How lucky are we to have 11 first cousins, and 10 of them live within a mile of us!  This means that we see a cousin (or more) almost every single day.  This year, Madelyn spent the mornings before school with us for a semester, Hadley came over after school often until her parents got off work, Lydia hung out with us after school for a few weeks while her babysitter was on vacation, Landon frequently shows up here on his bike, Hazel comes to town often for playdates, all the Downing cousins spent several nights with us over Christmas break while Lincoln was in the hospital, the Rancuret cousins see us at all different events, and they also spent some time with us when Hudson was born!  So, like I said, it feels like we have cousins here almost every day!  Here are some of the events from the year:

Monical's lunch after the last day of school before Christmas break.  This was a rough day.  I attended RC Hutchinson's funeral in the morning while the kids were at school, and then we found out about Lincoln's cancer that evening.  A really rough start to Christmas break for sure.
