Jacob's Shooting Stars Season

This year, Jacob was the only kid we had in Shooting Stars!  Josh was his coach.  It was a bit of a rough year.  The teams were not evenly divided, and we got smoked every week.  But, Jacob did well and had a good season!

His cousin Landon was on his team, as well as Landon's cousin Casen!

But, it's all about the learning and it will only make him better, right!?  

Mom's 60th & Dad's 60th

My parents BOTH turned 60 this month!  We had party at Betsy's to celebrate mom, and we had a party at our house to celebrate dad!  We also took mom for a day of shopping and eating out to celebrate:

Then we had fun getting ready for dad's birthday as well!  I made a cookie bouquet:

Dad's sister and brother both came.  It was a surprise because Aunt Paula lives 9 hours away!

I made some "60" cookies for the party as well:

We hope mom & dad both know how loved they are!

Valentine's Day at Home

Due to a snowstorm early in the day, we were able to have our Valentine Day dinner on the 14th, before Josh & Jacob had to go to basketball practice.  I had all day to get ready:

Grandma & Papa stopped by with gifts for the kids, and Josh and I got them some things as well:

The handle broke off my favorite mug from Disney World, so Josh got me a new one:
