VBS 2022

VBS 2022 - Starting to feel a little more normal for the first time since 2019!  It was my 9th year teaching missions, with a different mission every year! 

RECAP-I had a great time teaching missions this week! We learned about our church's newest missionary, Caitlyn Edwards, who is church planting in Japan! We learned about the desperate need for the gospel message there. We also learned about the challenge of language learning and got to practice saying and writing a little Japanese ourselves. We tried some seaweed and some Pocky. We memorized The Great Commission and learned about the parable of The Mustard Seed. We even got to hear directly from Caitlyn about her life in Japan! And we met our goal of $1500 to help with her mission in Hiroshima!
