Jacob's 5th Grade Year

 

Jacob had a great 5th grade year!  His last year at SFNE!  And, he got Mr. Downing (Uncle Jordan) as his teacher!  He didn't think he would.  I took pics of his reaction because I knew he'd be excited:

First Day of School:

Open House before football!

Jacob FINALLY got to try football this year!  Because of the conflicts with church, we told him he couldn't play until 4th grade (so the start time would be later).  But then, that season was canceled for covid!  So, 5th grade was his first year playing.  I think he liked it and learned a lot.  But, I'm not sure if he will play again or not.  We will see!  In junior high, he will have to choose between baseball and football (some boys do both, but it is A LOT).

I was very proud of Jacob (and Reagan) for being awarded Principal Student of the Year:

He had multiple awards banquets for this, and I forgot to have him dress up the 2nd time.  Oops!

Another Youth Retreat!

Church trip to Elevate:

Running a 5K!  A gift from Aunt Betsy!

He beat his last year's time!  Can he do it again next year?

A trip to the ER for a baseball to the eyeball (he was fine) earned him some ice cream:
