What Do You Do All Day???

Today I was asked, "What do you do all day????"  As a stay-at-home mom, I think that is the first time I've been asked that, although I have heard the common joke that all stay-at-home moms do is sit around watching TV and eating bon-bons all day.  Ha!  Spend a day at my house!  The question is almost laughable to me.  What don't I do all day?  Never mind the fact that I actually do have a part-time job which I do from home.  That takes a lot of my time, but even without that, I'm confident that I would still be very busy.  Don't get me wrong; there are days that I wonder what I accomplished.  But guess what?  I am never bored, and I never run out of things to do.  So what do I do?  I cook.  I clean.  I do dishes.  I do laundry.  I plan menus.  I grocery shop.  I clip coupons.  I read money saving blogs.  I plan church events.  I talk to friends on the phone.  I visit with my mom.  I change diapers.  I potty train.  I bathe children.  I clean up messes.  I host events.  I fix snacks.  I play.  I go on walks.  I go to the park.  I color.  I do puzzles.  I pay bills.  I do paperwork.  I wipe faces.  I do hair.  I sort clothes.  I blog.  I keep up on e-mails.  I take pictures.  I go to doctor appointments.  I make food for others.  I pick up the house.  I kiss boo boos.  I cuddle.  I put kids to bed.  I sometimes find time to read and exercise.  But most of all, I try to soak in every day with my children.  They are only small once, and the time goes fast.  And I wouldn't trade my job for any other in the whole world.  I just told Josh the other day that it is so nice to be doing what I know I was made to do.  I love my "job," and no, I am never bored!
