Lucas 5 Months

Lucas has been growing and changing a lot the past few months!  The picture above was the day after his two month birthday.  He was holding his head up so well!  He also started smiling a lot around that time:
He is such a great baby; have I said that before?
Sometimes he gives me a look that just screams "Ed Sudlow."
Some people even started calling him "Little Ed."  I guess his middle name is very fitting!
It looks like he's even going to keep the blue eyes!
He is too precious for words:
Great Uncle Art and Great Aunt Linda got him these cool shoes before he was born.  His first Nikes:
Three months old already:

He hated his first couple of baths, but now he usually seems to enjoy them:
Playing around with my camera features:

What in the world, four months old already?  This was one of my favorite sleepers that was Jacob's:
This picture looks exactly like my baby pictures!  Wow!
I just love this little guy to pieces.  I cannot stop kissing him:
Having fun with Aunt Betsy at Uncle Keith's 30th Birthday:
Chillin' in the shade at the park on a hot day:

Mama's boy:
He loves doing "the Superman."  He can do it for minutes at a time.  He gets his arms and legs going, and everyone says it looks like he's trying to swim.  Also, he is laying on the 40 yard line of the Illini football field at Memorial Stadium here.  Is football in his future?  Haha!
Lucas and his buddy Lincoln Church wore matching outfits to church one day (unplanned):

He's been checking out the exersaucer on occasion.  It's helpful when mommy is cooking:
Wow, and my little guy is FIVE months old now!
Lucas is rolling all over the place.
He smiles a ton.
He naps like a champ (2-3 good naps a day).
At night, he usually sleeps 12-13 hours and wakes up once or twice.
He's starting to notice food, but we'll probably wait a few more weeks to start on baby food (although his Great Aunt Sherry snuck a bit of icing into his mouth...what a great first food ;) ).
He loves tummy time, and you can tell he wants to figure out how to move around.
Scooting and crawling are in our near future!
He is mama's little guy!
