Cross Training

This semester, we decided to try an after school program at church on Wednesdays in place of Wednesday night church, which has had dwindling attendance.  The program was a huge success!  We had over 80 kids participate, many of whom do not go to church.  We focused on learning The Lord's Prayer.  Hannah can now recite it herself, which I was unsure if she'd be able to do at the beginning!  We had crafts, games, snacks, small group, lesson, etc.  It was kind of like a mini VBS!
I got to lead the K-1st girls small group, which was great fun because I got to be with Hannah and her friends.  I loved getting to know these girls!

We had some sweet 6th grade girls take care of the babies every week!  I took Madelyn and Aleah with me!

The little girls adored Aleah too.  They always wanted to hold her.  You can tell she's a third child since I allowed this :)
The kids all got a certificate for learning The Lord's Prayer!
After the final day, Sandy and I got to eat the leftovers of the chocolate fountain.  I love getting to do ministry with one of my best friends!
