After a year of minimal birthday parties, I might have gotten a little overly-excited for Aleah's 7th birthday! This girl was due for a fun birthday celebration!
First, I made cookies for her to take to school on her birthday!
Rainbows and "7"s with sprinkles per her request!
Then, she also got to invite all the girls in her homeroom over for a party (plus girl cousins and Maddie Hird)! I got them all LOL doll aprons for a cupcake decorating party:
We had an idea for a fun rainbow cake, which was a good challenge for me:
We played LOL Doll Bingo:

That night, our family went to a Hibachi grill in Danville, which Aleah loved. The chef teased her a lot, and she totally understood his jokes and thought it was really funny. She also got to participate a little!
The next day, her grandparents came over for a birthday lunch:
We got her this comfy new outfit, she is all about comfy:
Grandma Teresa and Papa Ed got her an Olympic leotard which she hopes to wear to gymnastics this fall/winter!
Papa Steve got her a summer leotard:
and comfy jacket:and more LOL dolls:
She got SO MANY LOL dolls for her birthday, which was perfect! She plays with them so much! I love toys that my kids actually play with!!
That night, we went to downtown Danville to check out a new ice cream place, Lainey's:
Safe to say it was a full weekend of birthday celebrations for our special 7-year-old!
