At the end of summer, I was feeling like we needed to pack in a little more fun. Since we bought our new house on June 29th, and we sold our old house on July 9th, I felt like that process ended up consuming a lot of our time. So, we uncharacteristially planned a last minute overnighter to Indiana. Josh was able to take one day off of work, which was all he could manage with no notice. We went to church on Sunday and then took off for the Indianapolis Children's Museum. We got another annual pass, so we're hoping to make it back a couple more times this year!

The new sports exhibit outside is AMAZING:
Aleah wandered away from us, and it was a few minutes before we noticed (#fourkids). Thankfully a security guard spotted her and brought her back to us.
That night, we drove towards our hotel, hoping to stop for dinner on the way. After missing some turns and some other bad luck, we ended up at Grandy's at 9:30 at night eating fried chicken and okra.
The next day, we hit Holiday World for the first time ever with our kids. The amusement park was fun, but the water park was amazing. We want to do it again next year and spend more time in the water.
Jacob was brave and tried a big wooden coaster, but he was really shaken up afterwards:
