For Jacob's 3rd birthday, we took a day trip to Indianapolis. We started at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis. We realized on our way there that the last time we had been there, I was 4 months pregnant with Jacob, and I was 4 months pregnant with baby #3 this time!

After the museum, we went downtown to Mass Avenue Toys, which is a really cool toy store that my brother Paul had just told me about. Josh had to keep going to put more money in the meter because we were there forever! Hannah found a really cool pogo stick basically made of rubber and foam. We had to buy it. She has wanted a pogo stick since she was 2, thanks to an episode of Sesame Street. She just isn't nearly old enough for a classic metal one. This one is safe and made for preschoolers. In true Jacob fashion, he spent FOREVER choosing which toy to buy with his birthday money. He ended up with a tractor that he loves! We finished the day at The Tamale Place, which Josh had seen on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. It was very yummy!!! What a great day!
