Lucas had a good 4th birthday, and little did we know that we were squeezing it in just before the world shut down for months due to the Corona virus!
Lucas' birthday was on a Sunday, so I went and got a birthday donut for him before church:
Presents from mommy and daddy after church:
Lucas loves bowling, and he said he wanted a salad for his b-day dinner.
The birthday boy gets what he wants!
The birthday boy gets what he wants!
He also got ice cream, of course!
The evening of his birthday, we went to see Papa Bob be honored for his retirement from the U of I at an Illini game! Little did we know that the NCAA was about to shut down.
Lucas got money in the mail from Grandpa and Grandma Reeves:
On March 10th, Lucas got to celebrate his birthday with his friends at preschool!
He asked me to make Peppa Pig cookies! He loved them!
On Sunday the 15th, Grandma made Lucas a Mickey cake:
And Papa Ed and Grandma Teresa got him this cute Paw Patrol jacket that he loves to wear:
We had no idea that would be the last day we could be with family indoors for months! We were supposed to have a joint party for Lucas and Aleah with extended family but that had to be changed. Lucas did get some "drive by" gift in April too though!
Despite Corona changing some of our plans, Lucas had a great 4th birthday, and I'm glad we got some of the events in before everything changed!
