Aleah's 5th birthday was a little rough, just like her 4th. We started off well. She took cupcakes to school and acted fine, her teachers said. But then Grandma and I took her to lunch at Steak 'n Shake and she crawled under the table and wouldn't come out. After awhile of refusing to come out, we started to get worried that she was getting sick..... and I got her to the bathroom just in time.... but not to the toilet just in time.... So, our plans changed and we went home. That evening she thought maybe she was in the mood for ice cream, so I took her up to Custard Cup while Hannah was at gymnastics and Jacob was at baseball. It was pretty much a disaster and by the time we got it, she didn't want it. We went home and waited for daddy to get home from practice, but he lost his phone at the ball diamonds, so that consumed our whole night. It was pretty much a bust, haha. Good thing we had her joint party with Lucas two weeks earlier! Poor girl, sick on her b-day two years in a row. Her 6th has to be better!
