Hannah had a great softball season. She and two of her teammates from last year were drafted on a team with six of the girls who beat her team in the league championship last year.
She really missed getting to be on Anna's team this year!
Hannah is a good batter but gets in her head sometimes. Her best hit of the season could not have come at a better time though. Her team was down by 8 for the 2nd game in a row in the tournament. Hannah hit a 3 run in-the-park home run in the bottom of the 5th to take the lead!
Her team did not lose a single game the entire season.... until the league championship.... the final game of the year. They got blown out by a team they had beat earlier in the season. It just wasn't our day. Hannah was so upset.
Mommy took her out for a steak lunch after the game to cheer her up. It was a tough loss for sure.
