We tried to have a small NYE party this year, but it ended up being even smaller than we had planned. The Strunga/Sanders family got the stomach flu so they were out, and the Lawlers double booked AND got influenza. So, it ended up just being the Downing Six. Honestly, I was kind of glad because we ended up having so much fun! We stayed in our pj's, and we didn't have to clean or make lots of food. We ordered Chinese and played board games all night. It was so much fun!

The kids are learning Ticket to Ride Jr., which is fun for all of us!
The next day I made Josh his corned beef and cabbage,
and we played lots more games! Catan Jr.
Our kids are getting bigger and it is so much fun to teach them new things and to have some "big kid fun" with them!
