It's hard to believe, but my second trimester ended the week of Christmas! Overall, my second trimester was pretty uneventful. The nausea and fatigue were basically gone. I did struggle with some headaches but none that left me unable to function. Heartburn started but also not as bad as in the past. The most exciting part of this trimester was finding out that we were having another boy! We found out the week of Jacob's birthday (20 weeks). Josh was able to go to my ultrasound. The tech asked if I had a feeling, and I told her that I thought it was a boy... and I have been right every time! She confirmed what I thought, and Josh was dumbfounded. He just doesn't understand how I "always know!" Haha! After Josh got off of work, we let Jacob open an early birthday gift with a "baby brother" sleeper in it. Everyone was happy! I think everyone was hoping to "even out our numbers." Jacob sure was happy to have a brother!
