It's hard to believe that Jacob is 4 already! The thing that I hear most about Jacob from other people is that, "he is such a great kid." Everyone tells me that. One of my friends who doesn't have kids yet said that she would just skip having them if she could have Jacob. She is a teacher and says that he will definitely be a teacher favorite. He is a fun kid!
Jacob, for the most part, has also been a pretty easy kid. I mean, he was my easiest pregnancy by far. He was my easiest delivery. He was a great eater and sleeper. Potty training was a breeze. He was an angel all through the "terrible twos." At about 3 1/2, he finally started testing his limits. He goes to time out a lot more these days, usually for repeat offenses like touching (ie tapping or pushing on) Aleah's head (he KNOWS he's not supposed to do that!). So, he gives me some more challenges right now, but I still think he is easy peasy.
He LOVES preschool so much! He is funny at church. There are a few teachers he is scared of, so he won't go to class on their days to teach. His eyes literally well up with tears, so on those days, he sticks with me. He is a very sensitive guy; he can cry at the drop of a hat.
He LOVES his Mickey blanket and sucking his thumb.
He got a hand-me-down robe which he also really likes:
One day this summer he insisted on wearing his snow boots to the pool:
.
He started this goofy smile with his eyes wide open.
It's hit or miss on getting a good picture of him these days:
He had his first dentist appointment. He liked it and checked out great. I was only slightly worried because Jacob has a sugar addiction; he will find it anywhere. He eats A LOT of candy..
He really doesn't like to wear clothes. He is in his underwear 99% of the time:
I'm so thankful that God gave me this boy! I love him to pieces.
